How to change Google account password
Let's see immediately how to change password to a google account acting as a PC, smartphone and tablet. If before coming to this guide you were wondering how to change google gmail password, how to change google drive password, how to change google photos password, how to change google play password and, more generally, of all the other "big G" services, know that by changing the password of your Google account, the one that allows you to access all the aforementioned services will also be changed as a result, since they are connected to your account Google. So far all clear? Yup? Well then let's proceed!
How to change Google password from PC
Let's see first how to change Google password from PC. The first step you need to take is to open the browser you usually use to surf the Internet, connect to google.it or google.com, click on your photo located at the top right and press the button Manage your Google Account present in the box that opens.
If you are not logged in to your account yet, click on the button Log in (always located at the top right), enter username e Password in the appropriate text fields and, after logging in, go to the panel Manage your Google Account as explained above.
At this point, fai clic sulla voce Safety on the left and press the button Password present in the box Access to Google. On the page that opens, type the Password currently set in your Google account, click on the button NEXT and, on the next page, type the new keyword with which to protect your account in the text fields New password e Confirm new password. Then click on the button Change the password And that's it.
The keyword must be at least 8 characters long. Preferably it should contain at least one uppercase letter, one number and one special character (e.g. an exclamation point or parenthesis). If you want advice on how to make a secure password, please consult the tutorial I dedicated to the topic.
Do you want to make your account even more secure? Then activate the two-step verification. Two-step verification is a technology that allows you to associate a temporary security code with your account password that is delivered via SMS (to be entered together with the password each time you access the account from a new browser or a new device) .
To activate two-step verification, go back to the management panel of your Google account, click on the item Safety located on the left and, in the box Access to Googleclick sulla voce Two-step verification. On the page that opens, click on the button Start, provide the Password of your Google account and click on the button Try now.
Next, reply Yes notice that appeared on one of the devices associated with your Google account. Finally, provide the cellphone number to receive the access codes to your account, indicate how you want to receive them (SMS o Phone call) and click on your button Send.
Now, type the code that you received via SMS or via a phone call to the number provided previously, click the buttons NEXT e Activate and follow the instructions that are shown on the screen to complete the configuration of the function. Once complete, you will receive an email confirming that XNUMX-Step Verification has been activated.
Note: Some apps may not support Google's XNUMX-Step Verification feature, so you'll need to create some password via le app to be used only in the latter. More information on the subject can be found in my tutorial on how to authenticate Google accounts.
How to change Google password on Android
You have a smartphone or tablet Android and would you like to change the password of the Google account directly from it? No problem. To do this, start the app Settings (the icon ofgear found on the screen with the list of all the apps installed on the phone or on the home screen), select the item Account from the screen that opens and tap on the logo of Google.
At this point, select the voice Manage your Google Account, select the scheda Safety (scroll the tabs at the top to find it) and tap on the wording Password contained in the section Access to Google. Therefore, type the Password currently set on your account in the appropriate text field that is shown to you and tap the button NEXT.

How to change Google password on iPhone
You have a iPhone and would you like to change the password of your Google account directly from it? Nothing difficult. To proceed, go to this page via the browser in use on your "iPhone by" (eg. Safari) and log into your Google account (if you haven't already).
Now, tap on the tab Safety (scroll the tabs at the top to find it) and tap on the item Password located within the section Access to Google. Provide, therefore, the Password currently set on your account (in the appropriate text field), presses the button NEXT and, after writing the new access key in the text fields New password e Confirm new password, save the changes made to the account by clicking on the button Change the password.
