Standard password recovery procedure
Since you have forgotten the password of your Alice Mail account (or better, TIM Mail), you must necessarily execute the password recovery procedure standard provided by the service. This way you can restore access to your inbox, check the messages you have received and send new emails to your contacts.
The password recovery procedure to follow on Alice Mail is very similar to that adopted by other e-mail services: just connect to the service access page, click on the link that allows you to start password recovery, indicate your username and follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Of course, you find everything explained in detail below.
To begin with, click on this link to connect to Alice's Web Mail login page and click on the link retrieve username and password, which is located a little further down the form containing the text fields used to login.
Subsequently, on the page that opens in the browser, you should see the form that allows you to perform password recovery and username recovery. Since you do not remember the access key to your Alice Mail account, you will need to fill in part of the form dedicated to password recovery (on the left).
Then type your email username in the text field username and put the check mark on one of the three available options (based on your email address): @ tim.it, if you want to recover the password of your @ tim.it address; @ alice.it, if you want to recover the password of your @ alice.it or @ tin.it, if you want to recover the password of your @ tin.it address. Now, click on the blue button Password recovery and the actual password recovery procedure will start, which consists of three steps.
The first step is to copy the verification code that is displayed on the screen. Enter, therefore, i 5 characters you see in the image (i.e. the captcha code) in the appropriate text field and click on the blue button NEXT. If you have difficulty interpreting the characters in the image that is shown to you, generate a new image by clicking on the link Upload a new image and repeat the procedure I just described to you.
On the page that opens, you will be asked to verify your identity by receiving a verification code that will be sent to you via SMS. For privacy reasons, you will not be shown your full mobile number, but only its last four digits (in addition to the country code): check that they match your real number and click on the blue button NEXT. If your mobile number is incorrect, click on the link click here and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the password recovery procedure.
Within a few seconds, TIM will send an SMS containing the mobile phone number you indicated during registration verification code which allows you to complete the password recovery procedure. Enter the code you just received in the text field that is placed next to the item Code and click once again on the blue button NEXT.
If the verification code is slow to arrive, wait a few more minutes and then click on the link try again. As soon as you receive the verification code via SMS, enter it in the appropriate text field and click on the button NEXT I will continue.
Now you can finally complete the password recovery procedure by setting a new access key for your Alice Mail account. Then type your new access key in the text field next to the wording Your new password and type one more time into the text field next to the item Repeat password. Finally, click on the blue button NEXT and, if you have completed the procedure correctly, you will see a confirmation message regarding this. Now you can finally log into your Alice account again! Did you see that it wasn't that complicated to recover your account password?

Password regeneration
Although you have scrupulously followed the password recovery procedure that I described to you in the previous lines, have you still not managed to recover the access key of your Alice Mail account? Well, in this case you can implement the "plan B" to which I mentioned at the beginning of the tutorial: send a written request to TIM to regenerate the password.
To forward your password regeneration request to TIM, connect to the operator's website and download the appropriate form by clicking on the floppy disk (or on that of the arrow) that appears in the browser. Once the download is complete, fill in the document indicating, in the appropriate fields, all the required information (your name and surname, your fiscal Code, your address,email address for which you want to recover the password, etc), sign it and attach your valid identity document. Then ship it away fax to the number 800 000 187. Alternatively, submit the form via email to the following address.

Please note: you can use the password regeneration form only for @ alice.it and @ tim.it accounts; but not for @ tin.it accounts.
